Walk Through audit
- a step towards profitable zero-emission
The Walk Through Audit is an ideal solution for companies beginning their journey toward energy efficiency and zero-emission. It identifies opportunities for optimization and helps define the next steps. The audit pinpoints which areas of your operations require improvement, enabling your company to pursue decarbonization and energy efficiency profitability. It is also effective for companies with high awareness that have completed prior investments and are looking to identify further improvement opportunities or confirm they have fully optimized their operations.
Who is the Walk Through Audit for?
The Walk Through Audit:
- combines analysis of client-provided data with an on-site inspection at the facility,
- includes a review of energy infrastructure across the facilities,
- covers evaluation of in-place machinery and energy usage,
- identifies energy losses and areas where energy consumption can be reduced.
The Walk Through Audit kickstarts further analysis, estimating project complexity, investment costs, payback periods, and energy savings.
Based on the Walk Through audit results, we can develop a comprehensive energy efficiency improvement plan for your company.

What you receive from the Walk Through audit
Identification and highlighting of areas with increased energy consumption - after conducting a basic analysis of energy usage in the company, we can identify areas that could potentially contribute to reducing energy consumption.
Optimization proposal - review and analysis of energy consumption in the facility with a proposal for optimization in four main areas: sources of electricity, heat and cooling, buildings and energy transmission networks, electrical engineering, and the technological process. Proposals are classified from the easiest with a quick payback period (so-called quick wins) to more complex ones requiring higher financial outlays. Thanks to such an assessment and suggested course of action, the investor can easily identify areas for improving energy efficiency and select projects for further analysis.
Suggestion for additional measurements that are worth conducting to refine savings estimates. For some projects, we recommend in-depth analysis and suggest which measurements to carry out. Most often, these include:
- thermographic measurements
- non-invasive liquid and air flow measurements
- measurements of energy efficiency of cooling sources
- measurements of energy efficiency of pumps, fans, and compressors
- measurements of boiler efficiency
Proposal of next steps toward improving energy efficiency: we develop a practical list of actions based on the client’s data and our on-site inspection. Our suggestions define the best order of actions, creating a strategy – an aligned plan to achieve maximum benefits.
What comes after the Walk Through Audit?
The Walk Through audit is the first step toward achieving zero emissions and energy efficiency. It helps identify areas with optimization potential, estimates energy and CO2 savings, provides approximate payback periods (SPBT), and indicates the possibility of financial support through White Certificates. Additionally, it serves as an excellent starting point for:
- creating a climate neutrality (zero-emission) plan
- developing an energy transition and sustainable development strategy
- obtaining White Certificates
- conducting feasibility studies for the most promising projects
- preparing turnkey investment implementation
- securing ESCO financing
- defining assumptions for implementing an energy management system in the company (diagnostics and monitoring)
