On 23 February 2026, we entered into an agreement with Żabka Polska Sp. z o.o. for the generation and sale of electricity from a photovoltaic (PV) installation located on the roof of Żabka’s logistics centre in Małopole. Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPSs) are electrical power devices designed to ensure continuity of power supply to connected loads in the event of disturbances in the electrical grid. Their primary function is to eliminate the effects of short-term voltage drops, surges, and complete power outages. In industrial environments, however, UPS systems are taking on an increasingly broader role - becoming an active element of energy management by integrating with energy storage systems and smart grid infrastructure.
Balancing market services are one of the key mechanisms underpinning the operation of the national power system. Their primary objective is to maintain a continuous real-time balance between electricity generation and consumption while ensuring the stability of grid parameters. At present, large-scale energy storage capabilities remain limited, making it necessary to continuously balance supply and demand. This function is performed by the transmission system operator - in Poland, this role is fulfilled by Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE), the company responsible for managing the operation of the National Power System (KSE).
Battery energy storage systems, commonly referred to as BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), are one of the key tools enabling a safe and stable energy transition in industry. Their ability to flexibly manage energy, integrate with renewable energy sources, and improve energy efficiency makes them a strong complement to energy infrastructure for consumers, producers, and grid operators alike. At the same time, their deployment requires precise technical and economic analysis. A properly designed and integrated BESS can significantly reduce energy costs and enhance a facility’s operational security, whereas incorrect design assumptions may limit its effectiveness.
