The publication provides a comprehensive analysis of technologies and investment directions that strengthen operational stability, energy independence, and the competitiveness of industrial enterprises.
The collaboration on the report aligns with the mission of Bridge Foundation, which focuses on supporting the development of a strong and secure economy in Central and Eastern Europe by fostering dialogue between business, experts, and public institutions. As Bridge Foundation, of which I am a co-founder, we support the DB Energy report “Energy efficiency and energy security. In 2026, energy efficiency has become a tool for increasing resilience to anomalies in technological processes as well as disruptions in energy supply and pricing. For industry, the stability of the power system and operational continuity are critical—literally a matter of survival. A single day of downtime can result in losses amounting to hundreds of thousands. This is why we created this report, focusing on technologies that improve energy independence, security, and efficiency.

DB Energy is a Polish engineering company specializing in turnkey energy efficiency investments, as well as consulting, audit, and engineering services for the industrial sector. The company operates with Polish capital. DB Energy provides consulting, design, financing, and implementation of energy-saving investments for medium and large industrial enterprises worldwide. Initially, the company focused primarily on consulting services and comprehensive advisory in energy management. As it grew and gained experience, its offering expanded to include project design and execution as a general contractor, as well as investment financing under the ESCO model.
