The electricity generated by the installation will be used to meet the internal energy demand of the logistics centre.
The scope of work includes ensuring the continuous operation of the installation, ongoing supervision of its performance, and undertaking activities enabling the sale of electricity. We are also responsible for obtaining all necessary administrative decisions, approvals and permits, including a licence for electricity generation issued by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE), as well as for concluding the required agreements enabling the commissioning and operation of the installation. DB Energy will also handle settlements with the electricity supplier providing energy to the customer’s facility. In accordance with the provisions of the agreement, the guarantees of origin for the electricity generated by the installation will be transferred to the offtaker under agreed terms.
DB Energy’s remuneration will be variable and will depend, among other factors, on the costs of leasing the installation, public charges, operating costs, the trading fee, the price of guarantees of origin, and the cost of electricity supplied by external providers. The estimated value of revenues related to the implementation of the agreement amounts to approximately PLN 10 million per year, and the agreement will remain in force for 120 months (10 years) from the date of the installation’s acceptance.
