DB Energy as a Partner of the Young Energy Europe 2023 Programme

DB Energy as a Partner of the Young Energy Europe 2023 Programme

We are pleased to announce that we have joined the group of partners of the international Young Energy Europe 2023 programme, aimed at developing competencies in energy efficiency, sustainability, and resource protection within companies. The project in Poland is organised by the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Poland).

What is young energy europe?

Young Energy Europe (YEE) is an educational initiative implemented as part of the European energy transition. The project is addressed to employees of industrial and manufacturing companies who, in their daily work, deal with, among others, energy management, process optimisation, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, or logistics.

Participants – the so-called Energy Scouts – take part in a series of practical trainings and workshops (both online and in-person), resulting in the development and implementation of real pro-environmental and efficiency solutions within their organisations.

In the 2023 edition, the programme focuses on areas such as:

  • energy efficiency and resource management,
  • electromobility in industrial logistics,
  • carbon footprint reduction and sustainable procurement,
  • use of data to improve energy efficiency,
  • analysis of investment projects in terms of ROI, simple payback period, and environmental impact.

DB Energy’s role as a partner

As a leader in energy efficiency for industry, we are pleased to share our knowledge, project experience, and practical perspective on implementation.

During the workshops, DB Energy experts – Katarzyna Kuśnierz, Paweł Wysokulski, Mateusz Myśliwiec and Przemysław Wojciechowski – will present case studies of savings projects carried out for industrial plants. We will focus on:

  • projects aimed at improving energy efficiency (waste heat, compressed air, industrial refrigeration),
  • assessment of investment profitability in the ESCO model,
  • examples of synergy between environmental and financial benefits,
  • use of the DiagSys system for monitoring and predicting energy consumption.

How to participate?

Applications are open until 30 April 2023.

To join the programme, simply fill out the form available on the AHK Poland website.

Sharing knowledge because we believe in change

We support YEE because we believe that investing in the competencies of industrial employees is the foundation of real energy transformation. Let’s build a sector together that combines efficiency with responsibility.
