DB Energy nominated for the Lower Silesian Griffin Award for the ESCO model
We are pleased to announce that we have been nominated in the prestigious competition “Lower Silesian Griffin – Economic Award”, organized by the Western Chamber of Commerce. Our company has made it to the final group of nominees in the “Product of the Year” category. The competition jury recognized our innovative approach to implementing and financing energy efficiency investments in the ESCO model.
ESCO model as an advantage for industry
The submitted project concerned solutions implemented by us in the ESCO (Energy Saving Contract) model, which enables the financing of energy investments from funds generated by energy savings. It is a real leverage for industrial companies that want to improve energy efficiency without engaging their own investment capital.
Being distinguished among such a strong group is a great honor for us. It is proof that our activities in the field of improving energy efficiency and supporting industrial transformation are being recognized and appreciated.
The Griffin Award for the second time?
This is not the first time we have had the honor of being recognized by the competition jury. In 2012 we received the Lower Silesian Griffin Award for innovation and academic entrepreneurship. Today’s nomination is a confirmation that we are consistently developing our offer and scaling it for industry.
