DBE photovoltaics stands for a free-of-charge estimation of possibilities to apply photovoltaic solutions and potential savings (an estimation is based on data delivered by a client).

The amendment to the Renewable Energy Sources Act of 2019 also recognised entrepreneurs as prosumers. Prospectus - i.e. an energy consumer who can produce electricity for their own needs and use the power grid as an energy storage. The condition is to conclude a comprehensive agreement for the provision of distribution and sale of electricity. The maximum permissible microinstallation power was also increased to 50 kW.

The construction of a microinstallation, i.e. an installation with a capacity of up to 50 kW, is an easier formal and legal undertaking than the construction of an installation with a capacity of over 50 kW.

For installations up to 50 kW, it is not necessary to: obtain a building permit, hold a concession for energy production, pay the connection fee. The owner does not bear the costs of installing a two-way meter.

An installation with the power of 49.8 kWp will generate electrical energy of 47.62 MWh/year. Assuming a price of electrical energy of 0.72 PLN/kWh, annual generated savings will amount to more than PLN 34 000.00.

The expected pay-back period for the investment is approximately 5 years, if fixed prices for electrical energy are maintained.
